I founded Sugar Mouse in 2008 whilst studying for my undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. Having always been interested in crafty pursuits, and with a previous business sewing accessories, band artwork and merch behind me, I realized I could rarely find ethically sourced and independently crafted jewellery that catered to my student budget…

After investing in a miniature drill, saw and files, Sugar Mouse soared in popularity. I just use what I would wear as a standard for all my creations, and it seems to have worked. I’ve been featured magazines such as LOOK, NME and Sugar, and I also do markets every so often.
